Association of Digital Content Creators in Kenya: Secretary General
In mid 2023, I was invited to contribute to the institutionalising of yet another noble program meant to sustain the practice of digital content creators. Still in its early stages, this initiative seeks to professionalise and advocate for the digital content creation career, with Kenya competing among the leading African content creation markets.
Objective
Initiate the systems that will support the various functions that lead to successful member registration, management and service, as well as provide internal oversight.Outcome
Work in progress.In my role as Secretary General, I intend to lead in the development of operational systems to sustain member management and value addition, as well as strategic development of the associations communities and stakeholders. Tasked with developing, implementing, and maintaining the association’s membership database, I will lead in the development and acquisition of suitable technologies that will facilitate our service to the digital content creator community.
